About Mwikali

I have stayed close to money long enough to learn what makes it stay.

Banker first, entrepreneur second, coach by conviction. Karibu. Here is my story, and the way I work.

The journey

The trading floor was my first classroom.

My full name is Tinah Mwikali Ngei, and I took my BCom in Finance at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa straight to where the money actually moves: the floor of one of Kenya's leading investment banks. I spent my years there selling regulated investment products to people whose wealth demanded respect, and I learned the machinery of funds, mandates and markets from inside the building rather than from a screen.

Then I did the thing most finance professionals only advise on. I left a salary and built two businesses of my own. Running Viren Collections and Yaretzi Beauty taught me the parts of money a trading floor cannot: payroll on a hard month, pricing with my own name on the line, the discipline of cash when nobody is coming to save you.

Coaching is where the two educations meet. You get the banker who understands the products and the entrepreneur who has carried the risk, in one chair, on your side of the table.

The name I carry

Some inheritances arrive before the wealth does.

Mwikali is a Kamba name. It belongs to the one who stays, the one a family waited for and kept a place for. I have come to treat it as a working philosophy. Money can be made in a season, but wealth is what remains when the season changes, and building it calls for the older virtues my name insists on: patience, presence, and the long view.

That is why I measure this practice in decades. The plan we build together is meant to outlast us both.

The way I work

Ask me what my currency is and I will answer you with people.

Clients describe the same experience in different words. I am direct about numbers and gentle about the fears underneath them. I keep a generous table: the discovery call runs long if it needs to, and nobody leaves my sessions with unasked questions. And I hold a bold standard for the people I work with, because ambition is the raw material of every plan worth writing.

What I am building, client by client, is a place for people who take their wealth seriously and want company on the way. The freedom my clients talk about afterwards is the quiet kind: decisions made on purpose, money that answers to a plan, and a legacy that no longer depends on luck.

PresenceI arrive prepared and I stay engaged
CandourWe discuss the numbers as they are
GenerosityYour questions are welcome until they run out
The long viewEvery plan I write is written for decades
